Why it Resonates with Me: This was the first book I read on the effects of stress that really made sense to me! It’s not a “light” read, but it is a fun read. The author is clever in his explanations and makes it make sense to those of us in the audience who do not have a PhD in neurology. This book was the first one to help me understand the relationship between my responses to life and my general sense of well-being. I was blurting out many “oh”s and “ah”s as I worked my way through the pages. A great read if you’re health isn’t the best and you find yourself under a lot of stress!
