Lots of changes over the summer for the band members of Soulscholar. The economic environment in the United States looms large over everyone and people have had to make adjustments including the band. Soulscholar is working on new music material for a studio project. They’re taking a more overt 70′s sound approach, since it seems most of the music they love to play and listen to themselves borders along these lines. This approach especially makes sense since many of the newest artists and talents coming into the spotlight have a decidedly hippie-esque sound (Grace Potter and the Nocturnals, e.g.).
